Speak clearly when it matters.

‘Before, I was hesitant…With the tools for correct pronunciation, I speak more fluently than before’ -

Mustafa, Business Management Coach

Executive Clarity is not a conventional language class. It is careful work on how your voice carries meaning under pressure. We pay attention to breath, pace and emphasis, and to the moments when speech tightens or rushes. The aim is not to change who you are, but to help your words land cleanly.

‘Why do people struggle to understand me? I have a good qualification in English…’

  • English is a complex language with unique sounds that may not be found in your native language. In many education systems the spoken side receives less attention, so habits form that are difficult to shift. Under pressure, speech can tighten or rush. This is common, and it is not a failure of effort.

  • We work with people who use English at work, including those who have relocated. The work is careful and private. It can take courage to admit that your English needs improvement, but with our tailored training programmes, you can overcome these challenges and feel more confident speaking English.

  • Your language background matters, so we adjust practice to the patterns that most often carry over from your first language. Most clients are CEFR B2–C2 and notice change they can hear as they apply these tools in meetings.

If this speaks to you, book a short conversation. We will map your goals and suggest a small plan you can start right away.

Why theatre and literature (in practice)

This work was developed on site with executive clients. We drew on methods from theatre and from close work with texts, and we kept what proved reliable in boardrooms and fast meetings.

  • Breath and support from voice training, so the sound stays steady when pressure rises.

  • Phrasing and cadence from text work, so sentences carry meaning cleanly.

  • Emphasis, pause and timing from performance practice, so key points land and are remembered.

  • Short rehearsal loops, so new habits form without losing natural voice or identity.

Everything is applied to the speaker’s real material—board updates, investor Q&A, interviews—and adjusted for culture and context.

What you will work on

We begin by listening to you in a real scenario. Then we work systematically through a structured programme to tackle different aspects of clarity in spoken English. You receive a short warm-up and simple practice between sessions. Most clients are CEFR B2–C2 and notice change they can hear.

Training is usually online in Teams or Zoom. Thirty-minute sessions are available if your schedule is tight. Your course can run as one-hour lessons or split into two half-hours at the start or end of the day - or in your lunch break.

A minute with Yeats (practice clip) - A short St Patrick’s Day exercise on sounds and cadence you can try quickly, then apply to your own material.

A creative path to clear English

We believe that language learning is a journey of cultural exchange. The tools are applied to real material and adjusted for culture and context.

At times we use a poem, a song, or a short scene to practise breath, cadence and emphasis, then apply the same tools to your real meetings. This provides both a cultural immersion and an engaging experience for the learner. Work on rhythm and cadence as well as phonetics gets to the root of intelligibility.

We offer a comprehensive support package for practice:

  • Containing summaries of the lesson’s main points and homework exercises for practice.

  • Recorded practice files so that you can hear the sounds and rhythm to emulate clearly.

  • You have the option to record all lessons to review in your own time.
